Leslie Madison Fisher III, 37, of the 400 block of Adventure Court, died Oct. 28, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Fisher was a native of Halifax, N.C. He graduated from First Colonial High School in 1977. He was employed with Wilson Trucking Corp. for 13 years.
Survivors include his wife, Laura G. Fisher; his mother, Jane T. Hudgins and her husband, James, of Virginia Beach; his father, Leslie M. Fisher Jr. and his wife, Shirley, of Tarboro, N.C.; a sister, Robin F. Jordan, her husband Michael, and their son, Jimmie Lee, all of Virginia Beach.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Joseph E. French. Burial will be at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery in Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
