The City Council approved plans Tuesday for a mega-roller rink and indoor sports complex on 20 acres of Corporate Landing property along Dam Neck Road.
The 100,000-square-foot building would be open by Labor Day weekend, according to developers Steve Murdock and Mark Gresalfi, two Virginia Beach entrepreneurs.
Murdock and Gresalfi sought conditional zoning and use permits to operate the sports center under the banner of their company, USA Entertainment, which has offices on Laskin Road.
