Phillip Bell, 18, of the 1100 block of Virginia Ave., died Oct. 27, 1996.
Born in Portsmouth, he was a twelfth-grade student at Churchland High School, Portsmouth, and a member of First Baptist Church, South Portsmouth.
Survivors include his mother and father, Vivian T. and Henry Bell Jr. of Portsmouth; a sister, Vivian T. Heart of Portsmouth; three brothers, Henry A. Bell, Kenneth Bell, both of Portsmouth; JoVonte C. Bell of Norfolk; maternal grandfather, John A. Farrow of Portsmouth; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church, South Portsmouth, by the Rev. Warren E. Amlet. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 11 a.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at noon Friday.
