Divers have recovered the body of a Florida-based pilot from the wreckage of a helicopter that crashed Friday in the Persian Gulf, killing two other men and injuring nine.

The body of Lt. Cmdr. Jeffry Allen Hilliard, a native of Orange Park, Fla., was found Wednesday.

Hilliard, assigned to Helicopter Support Squadron 15 in Jacksonville, Fla., was flying from the Norfolk-based carrier Enterprise about 140 miles southeast of Kuwait City.

Also killed were Petty Officer 1st Class Steven Mark Voight, a member of SEAL Team 8 at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base in Norfolk, and Lt. Robert Scott Wood Jr. of Marion, Mass., the other pilot. Their bodies were recovered earlier.

Of those who survived, none suffered life-threatening injuries and most have returned to duty, the Navy said.

The crash is under investigation.
