Ruth Edwards Beaman, 88, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 1996 in Bayside Hospital.
She was the widow of Clarence G. Beaman. Survivors include two sons, Robert Clarence Beaman of Portsmouth and Ronald Dean Beaman of Virginia Beach; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Wilkinson Funeral Home in Vanceboro, N.C., today from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
