Margaret Hoffer McGlauhon, 79, died Oct. 31, 1996, in a local nursing home.
A native of Elizabeth City, N.C., Mrs. McGlauhon was the widow of A. Winston McGlauhon.
Survivors include her daughter, Louise Ramirez of Ladysmith, Va.; four grandchildren, John Jenkins of Riverside, Calif., Rudy James Ramirez of San Antonio, Texas, David Klaus of Ladysmith and Alfred Foster Hancock III of Phoenix, Ariz.; four great-grandchildren, James Allen Jenkins of Ladysmith, Jonathan Jenkins of Riverside and Anna and Jeremy Ramirez of San Antonio.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Robert Lee Boggs. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
