Barbara A. ``Ann'' Watford, 55, of the 2000 block of Chestnut St., died Oct. 27, 1996, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
She was born in Colerain, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Bertha Watford and Levera Watford, both of Portsmouth; a son, Oris Watford of Portsmouth; her mother, Beulah Watford of Portsmouth; a brother, Master Sgt. Gurney L. Holley Sr. of Hawaii; two nephews, Gurney L. Holley Jr., Robert L. Holley, both of Portsmouth; five grandchildren; an uncle, Sgt. Major James A. Watford of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Ethelyn G. Holley of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Oris Watford.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today by Bishop Vernon Parham in Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing will be today from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at 1416 Wirt Ave., Brighton, at 12:45 p.m. Saturday for the procession. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
