RUTH E. WRIGHT

Ruth E. Wright of the 1200 block of Reservoir Ave. died Oct. 31, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Wright was a housewife and the widow of Willie Wright. She was also a member of First Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Bartley of Norfolk, Louise Wright of Norfolk, Joyce Bennett of New York and Arllena McRae of Norfolk; sons, Michael Wright of New York, Willie Wright of Texas and Dennis Wright of Norfolk; her mother, Jeorgiana Sykes of Norfolk; three sisters, Rosa Wallace of New York, Jeorgiana Marable of Pennsylvania and Jackqueline Riddick of Norfolk; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in First Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A., Norfolk, by Bishop Eugene Brown Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Sunday and will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at 1210 Reservoir Ave. at 11 a.m. for the processional.
