Helen Virginia Romeo, 72, of the 900 block of Trice Terrace, died Oct. 31, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Romeo was a native of South Norfolk. She was the widow of Fred J. Romeo.
Survivors include four sisters, Ruth Cuthrell of Chesapeake, Mary E. Ballantine and Doris S. Seeley, both of Virginia Beach, and Louise A. Romeo of Greensboro, Ala.; a brother, Edward L. Schweitzer of Virginia Beach; five nieces, Delores Dunlow of North Carolina, Janice Stokes of Louisiana, Juanita Harless and Ruth Mae Dozier, both of Virginia Beach, and Joyce Kiker of Alabama; five nephews, Walton F. McHorney of Virginia Beach, John Romeo Jr. of Norfolk, Edward L. Ballantine of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Joseph F. Seeley and Larry Schweitzer.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
