A woman suffered minor burns and smoke inhalation Saturday after a fire caused $50,000 damage to a home in the 800 block of East 30th St.
Fire officials said the blaze in the two-story, single-family home was reported just after 6 p.m. When the first fire trucks arrived, the building was burning badly.
There were reports that a woman was trapped inside, but she had apparently escaped.
The identity of the injured woman was not immediately known. The cause of the fire was ruled accidental. by CNB
