John Frank Patterson, 80, of the 800 block of Fremont St., died Nov. 2, 1996. He was born in Wakefield, Va.
Survivors include a daughter, Jessie L. Spruell of California; a sister, Elsie Cotton of Norfolk; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Ryland Ellis. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Garden. Family and friends will assemble at 964 Widgeon Road, Norfolk, at noon Thursday for the procession. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
