LONNIE V. BRUNER

Lonnie V. ``Red'' Bruner, 79, of Dominion Ave., died Nov. 3, 1996, in Rockville, Md.

Born in Sulfur Springs, Texas, he was the widower of Ruth D. Bruner. Mr. Bruner retired in 1964 as a U.S. Navy chief warrant officer, fourth class. He served for 30 years and was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of Calvin Presbyterian Church since 1956 and Bayside Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann Fodge and her husband, Doug, of Rockville; and grandchildren, Damon Fodge, 23, and Kyle Fodge, 19.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Bob DeWitt. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
