Mary Virginia Gunter Eason, 77, of the 1600 block of Old Donation Parkway, died Nov. 3, 1996.
Born in Norfolk, she was the widow of Lewis Clinton Eason Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, M. Susan Godwin of Norfolk, Sarah E. McBride of Virginia Beach; two sons, L. Clinton Eason III of Dalton, Ga., William M. Eason of Vienna, W.Va.; two sisters, Eunice Dize of Cape Charles, Va., Hazel Foulk of Pueblo, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. Clyde H. Johnson. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at 9462 Bay Front Drive, Norfolk.
