Gertrude A. Zedd, 82, died Nov. 3, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Zedd, a native and lifelong resident of Tidewater, was the wife of Bennie Zedd of Virginia Beach for 55 years.
Survivors include her husband; her three sons, Durwood Zedd of San Francisco, Calif., Larry Zedd and his wife, Beth of Virginia Beach, Edward Zedd and his wife, Nancy of Norfolk; five grandchildren, Allison and Joel Zedd of Norfolk, Brock Zedd, Brady and Zachary Zedd of Virginia Beach; her sister, Beulah Webb of Virginia Beach; two brother-in-laws, Calvin Zedd and his wife, Peggy, Sidney and Beatrice Wolff; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman and Cantor Jennifer Bern-Vogel. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad or to a charity of donor's choice. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Norfolk Chapel is handling arrangements.
