President Clinton recently stated he would have a policy drafted to give teen-agers a drug test when they apply for their driver's license. If they test positive, their license would be denied.
I believe it is a violation of the Bill of Rights when our children are forced to urinate in a cup to make the federal bureaucrats look like they're ``tough on drugs.'' Any fool knows that they can refrain from using drugs for a month or two before the test and then resume after getting their license.
And how about alcohol use? Perhaps teens should be randomly tested after they get their license. They could be ordered to appear at the DMV urinals. And how about the average guy on the street who is over 18 and snorts coke?
I am sick of seeing law-abiding citizens' rights being taken away to give a boost to self-serving politicians' careers.
