Helen Louise Cornelius, 69, of the 700 block of Hilda Pine Drive died Nov. 10, 1996.
A native of Virginia, she was the widow of George W. Cornelius Jr. and a charter member of Southside Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail Elaine Link of Virginia Beach; son, George Freeman Cornelius of Chesapeake; sister, Virginia Chappel of Portsmouth; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Greg Hensley. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and at the residence at all other times.
