Lee Winston Beale, 65, of the 900 block of Widgeon Road, died Nov. 9, 1996, in Sentara Nursing Center, Newtown Road.
A self-employed plumber, Mr. Beale was a native of Isle of Wight County and the son of the late Hatcher L. and Novella Beale. He was a resident of Hampton for more than 40 years.
Survivors include sisters, Lucille B. Lewis, Tillie Mae Griffin and Vergie Beale; and a brother, Joseph Samuel Beale. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Erma Beale and several nieces and nephews, among them Alernon Claiborne, with whom he lived for the last four years.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The family will be at 908 Widgeon Road.
