Issac Morris, 88, of the 3000 block of Barclay Ave., died Dec. 28, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Morris was born in Portsmouth and was the widower of Lucy L. Morris. He was a retired lift operator for Kee-McGee Company. He was a member of New Mount Olivet Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean A. Long of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren, including Barbara A. Wilson of Portsmouth; 27 great-grandchildren; 46 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in New Mount Olivet Baptist Church by the Rev. Milton L. Blount. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 1 p.m. today in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday.
