Allan Mason Spiller, 76, died Dec. 30, 1996, in his home.
Born in Richmond, he was a retired quality assurance specialist for NARF and the widower of Agnes Spiller. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge (NU)39 and the Democratic Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl A. Dougherty and her husband, Paul Jr., of Norfolk; a sister in Richmond; two grandchildren, Sara C. Dougherty and Paul D. Dougherty III of Norfolk; several nieces and nephews in the Richmond area; and several in-laws in West Warwick, R.I.
A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church by Father Lou Ruoff. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the church one hour prior to the service. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
