Clarence ``Snake'' Wesby Jr., of the 1500 block of Birch St., died Dec. 28, 1996, in a local hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Barnes of Norfolk; two sisters, Ann M. Wesby and Janet E. Brooks, both of Norfolk; a brother, James Williams of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Brianna Smith and Santonio M. Barnes, both of Norfolk; two aunts, Jessie Mae Wesby of Virginia Beach, Sarah Waters of Portsmouth; an uncle, Lancey Waters of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and a very, very special loved one, Linda Barnes.
He was predeceased by a son, Donnell Hicks; father, Clarence Wesby Jr. and mother, Annie Wesby.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Cemetery. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Norfolk, is in charge.
