Annie E. Dickens Bowman died Dec. 31, 1996, at home.
Born in Northampton County, she was retired from Hertford County Public School System and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, George Bowman; a daughter, Candance Riddick-Tue; a son, William K. Riddick of Greensboro; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, by the Rev. Robert Richardson. Burial will be in Carver Park. Reynolds Funeral Home is in charge.
