Kevin Joseph Creecy, 8 weeks old, of North Point Drive, died Dec. 31, 1996, in his home.
Kevin was born on Nov. 7, 1996, in Portsmouth to Nathlyn Edmonds Creecy and Joseph Cleaves Creecy Jr.
Besides his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Walter M. Edmonds and Judith M. Edmonds; paternal grandparents, Joseph Cleaves Creecy Sr. and Linda D. Creecy, all of Portsmouth; maternal great-grandmother, Alma S. Moore of Roxboro, N.C.; and paternal great-grandparents, Frank C. Dempsey and Dorothy L. Dempsey of Portsmouth.
A graveside funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Churchland Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Robert V. Forehand. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. The family will be at the home.
