Bingham Owen McGinty, 77, of the 400 block of Beverly Place, died Dec. 31, 1996.
Born in Richmond, she was a member of Kings Grant Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur J. McGinty; two daughters, Trudy M. Mizell of Virginia Beach, Melissa A. McGinty of Dover, Del.; a son, J. Frank McGinty of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Anne Scott of Richmond; a brother, Richard E. Owen of Richmond; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a fourth child, Jack McGinty. She was loved and will be missed by many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Kings Grant Presbyterian Church by Dr. Brian Dill. A graveside service will be held Friday in Seaford, Del., by Painter Watson Funeral Home. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements locally. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
