Virginia Tech's Ken Oxendine drew a crowd of Cornhuskers all night,
gaining 150 yards. The Hokies' 193 rushing yards were the most
Nebraska allowed all season.
ABOVE: As the Cornhuskers began pulling away in the fourth quarter,
Virginia Tech faithful who packed the Hokies' section found it
harder to keep their game faces on.
RIGHT: Quarterback Jim Druckenmiller, who threw for 214 yards and
three touchdowns, is consoled by teammate Keion Carpenter as he
walks off Pro Players Stadium.
Shawn Scales celebrates after he ripped the ball out of the hands of
Nebraska defender Octavious McFarlin in the end zone just before
halftime. That touchdown brought the Hokies within three, 17-14.
