LEARNING ETHICS FROM NEWT

Thank God for Republicans. Without them, what would ever give Democrats their sudden desire for ethics in government? Newt Gingrich seems to be just the tonic they need. He allegedly allowed the use of tax-exempt funds to sponsor a college course that he taught.

Tax-exempt funds are donated to colleges all the time. The tax codes encourage it. Otherwise, our institutions of higher brainwashing would dearly suffer. Again, no law was broken and absolutely no one was hurt by Newt's actions save those Democrats in Congress who continue to fear the truth.

This whole episode does serve to remind us of real tax atrocities that affect the honest common man. Bill and Hillary Clinton claimed a large loss on a prominent real estate transaction when, in fact, they owed taxes due to a significant gain.

Vice President Al Gore accepted political contributions from a host of Buddhist monks. Are the Democrats really furious because Newt Gingrich, in effect, oxed their Gore? I think so.

Foreign bribery is finding it's way into the Democratic Party at an alarming and indefensible rate. Foreign contributions are illegal, pure and simple.

Clinton maintains he is surrounded, in the White House no less, by foreign-looking and -speaking people he doesn't know and doesn't know how they got there. What we clearly have is the worst government money can buy. Impeach the traitor before it's too late!
