Virginia L. Oldham, 72, of the 8700 block of Tidewater Drive, died Jan. 1, 1997, in a local hospital.
Born in Norfolk County, she was the widow of Robert Edward Oldham.
Survivors include two daughters, Teaette M. Oldham and Lella Sue Braun, both of Norfolk; three sons, Charles H. Oldham, Alvin C. Oldham, both of Norfolk, Peter F. Herbert of Louisiana.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 6 to 7 p.m. today.
