William Cecil Powell, 87, died Jan. 2, 1997.

Mr. Powell was former owner of Holoman Sausage Co.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bridgers Powell; two daughters, Linda Howell and Jean Bryant; two sisters, Sybil Wood and Myrtis Powell; a brother, E.R. ``Bud'' Powell; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Woodland United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church or the Woodland Rescue Squad. Jackson Funeral Home, Jackson, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the home in Woodland.
