Alberta Knox Mason of the 2300 block of Harrell Ave. died Jan. 1, 1997.
A native of Princess Anne County, she was the widow of Walter E. Mason and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two sons, Eugene T. Mason of Virginia Beach and Milton P. Mason of Norfolk; sister, Barbara H. Gamble of Chesapeake; four grandchildren; an aunt, Rosa Reid of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delia H. Galloway and Luther Knox.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, 1141 Campostella Road, Norfolk, by the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 2449 Strawberry Lane, Chesapeake, Monday. Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Sunday. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
