WILLIAM TUTTLE

William Jackson ``Jack'' Tuttle, of the 3300 block of Ocean Shore Ave., died Friday, Jan. 3, 1997.

Born in Winston-Salem, N.C., he moved to Norfolk in 1941. He was a salesman and then became manager of Hajoca Corporation, a wholesale plumbing and heating industrial supplies company. He was with the company until he retired in 1976. He was a longtime member of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach where he served on the vestry. In past years, he was a member of the Sales Executive Club, the Norfolk Kiwanis Club, and the Lions Breakfast Club of Norfolk where he served on the Board of Directors.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Cochrane Tuttle; a daughter, Betty Lee Tuttle Lacey of Virginia Beach; a granddaughter, Lesley Lee Lacey of Tennessee, and a great-grandson, Stone Tyler Desmond of Tennessee. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Charles A. Peterson of Winston-Salem, N.C., as well as nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted noon Monday at All Saints' Episcopal CHurch by Dr. Stanley W. Sawyer. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to All Saints' Episcopal Church, 1968 Woodside Lane, Virginia Beach, Va. 23454. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is in charge.
