Jane O'Brien, 65, formerly of 21st Street, died at the Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas on Dec. 29, 1996.
An artist, she continued her studies in Venice and Rome after graduating from George Washington University. A teacher of young children and a child of God herself, she enriched all who met her, bringing out the best in others by making God more present, a visible angel for the rest of us.

A Eucharist in her memory will be held at Holy Apostles, 1598 Lynn-haven Pkwy., Virginia Beach, Monday at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Apostles.
