Willie Grant Mackey, 45, of the 900 block of S. Quail St., died Jan. 2, 1997, in his home.
An employee of Mid Atlantic Moving and Storage, Mr. Mackey was a Norfolk native.
Survivors include his son, Daniel Mackey of Norfolk; five sisters, Betty Rainey of Woodbridge, Va., Edith Mackey of Portsmouth, Joyce Moore of Chesapeake, Hannah P. White and Jacquelin Mackey, both of Suffolk; four brothers, James Mackey Jr., Richard Mackey of New Jersey, Eugene Mackey of Norfolk and Quintin Mackey of Portsmouth; grandfather, Henry Morgan of Norfolk; and a host of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Central Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. James Missick. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home is in charge.
