PATSY G. CORNWELL

Patsy Almeda Green Cornwell, 72, of the 8200 block of McCloy Road, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, in DePaul Hospital.

She was born July 28, 1924, in Bristow, Okla., the daughter of the late B.F. Green and Annie Bell Green. Patsy was the loving wife of Robert S. Cornwell, who survives. She was a member of Oakdale Presbyterian Church and Fleet Reserve Auxiliary, Branch (NU)60.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by a son, Donald Darrow Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Savannah, Ga.; a daughter, Deborah Lupton and her husband, Gary Lupton, of Virginia Beach; a sister, Opal Campbell of Fort Morgan, Colo.; four granddaughters, Kelli Nance, Denise Kopp and Jocelyn Darrow, all of Savannah, Donna Kaufman of Aiea, Hawaii; four grandsons, Donald Darrow III and Scott Darrow of Savannah, Gary Lupton Jr. and Eric Lupton of Virginia Beach.

Services will be held at 7 p.m. today in Oakdale Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kenneth R. King officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the social hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Oakdale Presbyterian Church, 550 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, Va. 23517. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
