Bobby Keith Johnson, 65, of the 1100 block of Jarrett Road, died Jan. 4, 1997, in his residence.
Mr. Johnson was born in Selma, N.C., and was retired as an engineer from NADEP. He was a veteran of the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Nelson Johnson; two daughters, Karen Lee Johnson of Lima, Ohio and Mary Ann Guillen of Beaverton, Ore.; two sons, Robert Wayne Johnson of Lima and Richard Alan Johnson of Virginia Beach; his mother, Ruby M. Johnson of Norfolk; a sister, Delores Huston of Goose Creek, S.C.; six grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Tina L. Nicholson of Virginia Beach and Angela S. Cherry of Portsmouth; and a stepson, James W. Snyder of Elizabeth City.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. George T. Boyd. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and at the residence at other times. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
