MINNIE K. JOYNER

Minnie Lee Knight Joyner, formerly of Suffolk, died Jan. 5, 1997, in Masonic Home, Richmond.

Born in Nansemond County, she was the widow of Clifton Howard Joyner. She retired as a printer for Planters Peanuts after 44 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Suffolk, and the Friendship Sunday School Class.

Survivors include several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Baines and John Kingled Knight.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Charles W. Thompson in Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today for visitation in the funeral home.
