Charlene Elizabeth Lindsey, 33, of the 900 block of Albert Ave., died Saturday Jan. 4, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center.
She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of Gladys Downing Lindsey and the late Freddie L. Lindsey Sr. She was a member of Zion Light Church of Christ.
Survivors include sisters, Gladys M. Lee, Karen D. Shambray, Darlene Privott, Deborah Johnson; brothers, Freddie L. Lindsey Jr., Charles Lindsey, Jesse R. Lindsey, Leonard L. Lindsey, Calvin Lindsey, Gary L. Lindsey; and paternal grandmother, Jennie Lindsey.
A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Zion Light Church of Christ, 1035 Ave. G. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be in church at noon Thursday. The family will be at her residence.
