MARGARET T. HUDSON

Margaret Tomkinson Hudson, 77, of Snug Harbor, died Sunday morning Jan. 5, 1997, in Brian Care Center.

A native of Columbia, N.C., she was the wife of Joel L. Hudson and the daughter of Cora Cox and Joseph Alexander. She had been employed at the Fleet Intelligence Center, Norfolk. Mrs. Hudson was a charter member of Snug Harbor Church.

Survivors besides her husband include a son, Daniel M. Tomkinson of Chesapeake; two stepsons, Gregory Hudson of Spotsylvania, Scott Hudson of Norfolk; five stepdaughters, Pamela Langteau of Spring Valley, Calif., Joelene Peverall of Virginia Beach, Jayne Roy, Janice Hudson of Bellingham, Mass., Teresa Ridgeway of Severn, Md.; a brother, Dan Alexander of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Elaine Gill and Audrey Gardiner, both of Norfolk; and 16 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Snug Harbor with the Revs. Stanley Nixon and Jerry Bright. Swindell Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Donations may be made to Snug Harbor Community Church, Hertford.
