David Alexander Thompson Jr., 69, of the 4600 block of Reynolds Drive, died Jan. 4, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a retired manufacturer's representative of EURPAC Inc. with 30 years service. He was a graduate of Dickinson College.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Hawks Thompson; two daughters, Margaret A. Thompson of Virginia Beach, Kathryn E. Filetti of Bothell, Wash.; his mother, Annie Nevin Thompson of Lima, Pa.; and a sister, Anne T. Sinclair of Santa Barbara, Calif.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Davis L. Main. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk SPCA, Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Va., 23509. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. after the service Thursday at the residence.
