A fire early Tuesday damaged a propane gas tank and building at a peanut company, site of a Christmas Day blaze in a peanut hopper.
The fire was reported about 1:28 a.m. at Original Nut House Brands, Pond Brothers, in the 400 block of County Street.
Firefighters found gas leaking from a 500-gallon liquid propane tank, which had to be cooled with water so valves could be closed and the fire extinguished, fire officials said.
Damage was estimated at $5,000.
