Raymond Louis Holloway, 58, died Jan. 8, 1997, in Washington Hospital Center.
Mr. Holloway was born in Handsom, to Aron Holloway and the late Linia Holloway. He worked for Shirley Construction Co. of Washington, D.C., for 25 years. He was a member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Holloway; his daughter, Betty Ruffin; his father, Aron Holloway of Carrsville; two sisters, Josephine Benton and Mable Holloway of Carrsville; four brothers, Aron Holloway Jr. of Hampton, Tommie L. Holloway of Franklin, William Holloway and Norman Holloway of Carrsville; a grand-daughter, Chiquilla Ruffin; and a grandson, Roger Hunt of Carrsville.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Newsoms, by the Rev. Rodger Steele. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery, Franklin. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
