WILLIAM S. MCCOVE

William S. McCove, of the 300 block of W. 29th St., died Jan. 7, 1997.

Born in Norfolk, he was a past member of St. John A.M.E. Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. McCove was a retired construction worker.

Survivors include a daughter, Florine McCove of Maryland; a sister, Mrs. Florine Bell of Norfolk; a brother, Randolph Fitchett of Maryland; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Sunday. The family will assemble at at 321 W. 29th St. at 11 a.m. for the procession.
