A man burned his hand early Saturday when a blaze broke out in a home in the 7000 block of Dumar Drive.
A Fire Department spokesman said the man, whose name was not released, declined medical treatment.
The fire, which was reported at 2:41 a.m., caused an estimated $25,000 in damage to the home. It took firefighters 14 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire was traced to combustibles placed too close to a furnace.
