Opening tonight

Art and wine. Sure, there's a tie-in. Linda Gissen's torch-formed glass figures are perched on leaves. And grapevines have leaves - right?

Gissen (whose work is shown) is among the regional artists showing recent work in ``New Art/New Wine 1997,'' an exhibit opening tonight from 6 to 8 at the d'Art Center with a wine tasting, bistro eats, live music and a silent auction. Admission is by donation: $10 in advance, $12 at the door.

The exhibit continues through March 2 at d'Art, 125 College Place, Norfolk. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Free. 625-4211.
