Boulos Stephan, 82, died Wednesday Jan. 15, 1997, in his residence.
Born in Jerusalem, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1969 with his wife and family. Mr. Stephan was very active until his illness. His family and friends will miss his loving, kind and generous personality. He was retired from Peninsula Wholesale and was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Newport News. +r Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Eugenie Stephan; four daughters, Diana Kheir, Rose Ranoff, Hilda Pope, Mimi Stephan-Kopassis; three sons, Steve Stephan, Christo Stephan, Alan Stephan; a sister, Wardeh (Rose) Gounaris of Tennessee.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. today in Riverside Funeral Home. Following the prayer service the family will receive friends until 8 p.m.
