Elizabeth Hinson Hunter, 94, formerly of John Knox Towers, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, in a Norfolk health care center.
She was born in Salisbury, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Leonora J. Pool and Lindsay Monroe Hinson and a member of Park Place Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue Hunter Bennett of Gainesville, Fla.; two sons, James Richard Hunter of Fairfax, Va., and Thomas P. Hunter of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Cora H. Hinson of Albemarle, N.C., and Ann H. Nelms of Norfolk; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997, in Forest Lawn Cemetery by her nephew, the Rev. Robert C. Hastings. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Cox Funeral Home is in charge.
