I. GRACE BURRIS

Ida Grace Burris, 89, of the 2000 block of Texas St. died Jan. 15, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.

A native of Point Pleasant, W.Va., Mrs. Burris was past president of the Republican Women's Club, Chesapeake.

Survivors include her husband, Charles F. Burris Sr.; four daughters, Velma Robbins of Portsmouth, Charlesanna Drew of Norfolk, Jackie Morgan of Chesapeake and Linda Hughes of Richmond; three sons, Lewis Burris and Floyd Burris, both of Portsmouth, and Charles Burris Jr. of Chesapeake; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Hans Hess and the Rev. Karen Eagleton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
