Whatever happened to the Norfolk Neptunes - Norfolk's only ``professional'' football team? Remember?
Probably the same thing would happen to any professional team. Norfolk isn't big enough or wealthy enough, evidently, to handle the burden alone, and other cities have bigger problems concerning education and community and cultural development. Not to mention the water problem at the Beach.
If companies, banks, etc., want to band together and use their money for an NHL team - OK - but I guarantee most people can't afford $30 a game.
