SUPPORT SCHOOLS

George Shinn wants Chesapeake to put up money to support his hockey team and arena.

I live in the Deep Creek area, and my grandchildren attend schools that are surrounded by portable classrooms. I think it would be the height of stupidity to spend money on a sport when we need it for our schools.

I would like to remind the Chesapeake City Council members that George Shinn didn't vote them in and he can't vote them out. But the concerned mothers and grandmothers of Chesapeake can.
