JOINT DRUG INVESTIGATION LEVELS CHARGES AT 4 MEN

Four Dare County men have been arrested on drug-related charges stemming from joint investigations by the sheriff's office, the State Bureau of Investigation and three municipal police departments.

Darrell Keith Gibbs, 38, of Wanchese, was charged with two counts of conspiracy to sell and deliver cocaine, one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, and one count of sale and delivery of cocaine, all felonies. Bond was set at $8,000.

Dion Tyree Daniels, 23, of Manteo, was charged with two felony counts of conspiracy to sell and deliver cocaine. The amount of the bond was unavailable Friday.

Charles Winfred Patterson, 41, of Manteo, was charged with four counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and four counts of sale and delivery of crack cocaine, all felonies. Bond was set at $40,000.

William Connel Skenes III, 18, of Kill Devil Hills, was charged with one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, one count of sale and delivery of cocaine, one count of conspiracy to traffic cocaine, and one count of conspiracy to sell and deliver cocaine, all felonies. Bond was set at $20,000.

The men were arrested Thursday.
