Nathaniel Lee ``Big Spank'' Neal, 39, of the 900 block of Washington Ave., died Jan. 15, 1997, in Norfolk General Hospital.
Born in Bridgeville, Del., he was a warehouseman for W.W. Grainger for nine years. He was an active member of the ATC Fitness Center at Wards Corner.
Survivors include his wife, Trudeanna Knight Neal; a daughter, Altoya Chanett Brinkley of Norfolk; sons, Altonio Fionn Brinkley, Nathaniel Lee Knight; mother, Maxine Neal; brothers, Alphonzo Neal, Terry Neal, Donald Neal, Howard Neal, Eddie Neal; a grandson, Altonio Jones; godchildren, Michelle Myers, Richard and Cora Jones.
A wake service will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Graves Funeral Home Chapel. The body will be sent to Bennie Smith Funeral, Dover, Del., for services. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
