TEMPLE F. EARLY

Temple Franklin Early, 76, died Jan. 16, 1997, after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Early was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was the son of the late Posey and Lucille Early. He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran and a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Early; two daughters, Mary Cornio of Frederick, Md., and Stephanie Beaudry of Berlin, Germany; a son, Wallace Early of Norfolk; a sister, Garnett Bratten of Virginia Beach; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday in Altmeyer Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Anthony Diffenbaugh officiating. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the SPCA, 916 Ballentine Blvd., Norfolk, Va. 23504.
